They provide an accurate reading of solar UV radiation in real time. How great would these look in public places around #tasmania such as your local beach or surf club!
Remember even when the temperature is cool, UV is present.

Run from the Sun

Ken will be riding all over the state sharing his story about fighting melanoma.

  • We will be visiting Northern and NW Tasmania touring schools and businesses between Monday 3 September & Friday 7 September
  • There will be a fundraising motorbike ride on Sunday the 9th
  • And we'll be visiting Southern Tas touring schools and businesses between Monday 10 September & Friday 14 September.

Run from the Sun is a fundraising and awareness campaign, spreading the word about the dangers of melanoma.

Run from the Sun 2018 Melanoma Tasmania group fundraising ride
Date 9 Sept 2018
Starting point :  Rear car park Salty Dog Hotel Kingston Beach bikes assembling from 10am with stands up at 1030
Route Kingston Beach to Franklin Hotel via Cygnet loop for lunch then on to Longley International Hotel for the ride finish
All makes and marques of bikes and cars welcome,  cars are to travel at the back of the main riding group please.

Saturday March 3 - Wellness Expo - Princes Wharf 1 - 10am-4pm

Melanoma Tas will be attending the 2018 wellness expo. This is a free event so drop in to find out the latest regarding your health and wellbeing in the sun.

Sunday March 4 Run The Beaches Bellerive Beach 9am – 12pm

Melanoma Tas will be providing participants with Sun Screen and making available info about skin checks and support for families.

Come along with the family and enjoy the 5km fun run.

Come & play in the Kingston Tennis Club President’s Day at the Kingston Tennis Club Kingston View Dr Kingston 17th February 1.30 – 4pm.

This is a free event so feel free to bring friends and family. 1:30pm to 4pm Saturday 17th of Febuary.
